FEBRUARY OUTFIT RECAP

Hey folks,

I know I’m a bit late on this one because March is already on, but after my small blogging break I still wanted to give you a recap on my outfits from the past month. The reason for my absence? Nope,no vacation unfortunately, but simply plain fatigue and a huge lack of motivation.  It even got to that point where I just wanted to shut down my blog completely and forget about it entirely. Lucky for me I have a supporting boyfriend and a motivational sister that kept me from taking this step and gave me the idea to just take a week off the blog and see how I feel about it.

Well as you can tell, I started to miss my blog after not looking at it for 5 days straight. During that time I also didn’t read my favorite blogs ( yay for 200+posts that I can read now) and wasn’t super active on Instagram and Facebook either. I felt quite disconnected to the blogging world and somehow I wasn’t enjoying that feeling. Maybe the one or other among you has gone through similar feelings and experiences with their blog? If so, I would really love to hear your thoughts on this. Today, of course,  I consider this idea of taking my blog offline as complete non-sense and, moreover, stupid as can be.

After all, blogging fills me with so much delight, because I get to share my, sometimes boring, thoughts and ideas with the world and get a lot of inspiration back in return.

Sammie, thanks God you changed your mind, it would have been a pity to close your blog. I had more long breaks since I started blogging dut to changes in my private life or lack if inspiration, I even chaged the topic of my blog during the past years. I learnt that blogging should remain a pleasure and not stress so I always consider it as my hobby and I post when I have a new outfit to share or I attend an great event etc. I don’t gave days dedicated to blogging, just sharing when I am in the mood. I know that with this blogging style I will probably not make it to the fashion shows and get collaborations but that’s not even my aim. The most important is to do it for pleasure. PS: your february outfits are cool! I really like the backstage photos you share sometimes, like the one when you were changing from boots to heels. :)

Thanks to your lovely supporters that you took the right decision!! People can’t imagine how exhausting a blog can be, how much time and energy we invest for one simple post. Even on vacation we have to think on blog work 😉 But it’s like you said, afterall we’re satisfied of what we’re doing because it’s a passion/madness we love to share with others!
