Neutrals and black are the controlling colors in my bag-robe. They’re timeless, versatile and fit with literally every single item in my closet. However I felt like a splash of color couldn’t hurt and when this pinkish Furla Metropolis crossed my eye during past week’s trip to the Outlet in Roermond, the deal was sealed. Well, in fact it wasn’t that easy because I was torn between a gold metallic, a blush pink and this deep pink shade for almost twenty minutes. But I stuck to the initial plan of adding a popping bag to my collection and I’m happy I did.
Being an impatient person, I immediately took the opportunity of our annual Christmas dinner to take this pretty little thing out, together with a wrap skirt in black sequins that has been waiting ever since August (remember this article?) for its debut. Black and white outfits can easily be associated with dull work-wear but this slight dab of pink somehow managed to add a few festive feelings to it. Now I got to decide on my look for new years eve and I’m done with the holiday wear for this year. Have you decided on your outfit yet?
