A quick hello from the big apple.
I arrived yesterday after a very long flight and an even longer queue at the passport control (more than 2 hours) in New York City, and so far, it’s been an absolutely brilliant experience. To me it’s the most vibrant and moving city I’ve ever been to. The lights, the people, the whole atmosphere is simply incredible and I can’t wait to discover all those beautiful places.

As you might know the fashion craziness, also known as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, has begun and I already had several shows on the schedule today. Most of them were very impressing and really made me look forward to the upcoming spring season. But you get to read my impressions and opinion about the different shows a little later as I decided to split this article in half. Tomorrow afternoon I’ll be going to the Rewardstyle party on the rooftop of the empire hotel, which will certainly provide me with Gossip Girl moment 😉 I hope it will be lots of fun and if anyone of you is going as well, just leave a comment below. I would love to meet you.

After the shows this morning I ran into my favorite blogger in front of the tents at Lincoln Center. It was very exciting to meet that person whose blog I’ve been following since more than three years now. Tamara from Theglamandglitter was super sweet and, as always, dressed to perfection. Her style is chic and girly but still very wearable, and that’s one of the main reason why I like her blog so much. It’s not over the top sophisticated, but it’s very real and therefor a great inspiration for daily life. And now that I know what a lovely and kind person she is in real life, I’m even more looking forward to her next outfit-posts. If you haven’t done so,head over to her blog to discover all her pretty looks.

PS: Please excuse my messed up hair,it was so humid and hot today,i almost melted away :)
