Finally my mood and form are back to normal. After yesterday’s disastrous day,all I did was watching TV and nibbling on the couch/bed/floor and this for the entire evening. And it felt so good to just do nothing at all. Sometimes a little rest is just what you need in order to get back on your feet. So let’s start this fresh day with a new edit of Wednesday’s Finest.
It’s getting a little more sporty this time as I need these inspiring pictures and pieces also for my own motivation if I might say so. Athleisure is definitely one of the big things of 2k15 and I seriously didn’t want to hide this trend from you. So enjoy my favorites of the moment and if you have any tips or discoveries that you would like me to cover in this weekly edit, just leave a note in the comment section.
No best news this week, but instead one of my favorite Instagram accounts of the moment. Tully Lou, (her real name is Tully Humphrey ) from Melbourne is not only a yogini per-se, but she also designs and inspires with her own label named Tully Lou. With her brand she gives a new meaning to the wording powerful women by mixing rebellious workout apparel with stylish street-wear. Highly motivational.
I love to listen to this song all day, whether it’s in the early mornings before going for my fasted cardio session or in the late evening when driving home from work. Such an easy, relaxed song.
Piece of the moment
My piece of the moment is,without a doubt, the laid-back CK Crew Sweater from Calvin Klein Jeans that I currently live in. It’s so cozy and lightweight at the same time and matches skirts just as good as the favorite pair of denim. Isn’t it funny how the logo-mania is slowly crawling it’s way back to the top shelves?
You can get the sweater here in three basic colors either with or without hood. Up to you.
Brand of the moment
Somehow I find myself very drawn towards Australian fitness brands(and Instagram accounts) lately, coincidence or not? My newest finding in fashionable sportswear is from down under as well. I present: THE UPSIDE. With their contemporary printed tights and the bold yet simple shirts they managed to fully hit my taste. Jodhi Meares, the founder of THE UPSIDE, and a fitness lover herself, wanted to fill this gap of stylish workout gear by establishing a brand that fusions style and support. Mission accomplished I’d say.
